เข้าร่วมกิจกรรมแปรอักษร วันที่ 1 กรกฎาคม 2553 |

ด้วยคณะกรรมการบริหารลูกเสือแห่งชาติ กำหนดจัดงานวันคล้ายวันสถาปนาคณะลูกเสือแห่งชาติ ณ สนามศุภชลาศัย สนามกีฬาแห่งชาติ ในวันพฤหัสบดีที่ 1 กรกฎาคม 2553 เพื่อน้อมรำลึกในพระมหากรุณาธิคุณ จึงได้จัดให้มีการแปรอักษร ซึ่ง พระบาทสมเด็จพระเจ้าอยู่หัว ทรงพระกรุณาโปรดเกล้าฯ ให้พระเจ้าวรวงศ์เธอ พระองค์เจ้าโสมสวลี พระวรราชาทินัดดามาตุ เสด็จแทนพระองค์เป็นประธานในพิธี โดยมีโรงเรียนอัสสัมชัญ และโรงเรียนกรุงเทพคริสเตียนวิทยาลัย ได้รับเกียรติให้เข้าร่วมการแปรอักษรในครั้งนี้ด้วย
จึงเรียนมาเพื่อขอความร่วมมือในการอนุญาตให้นักเรียนเข้าร่วมกิจกรรมในครั้งนี้ ผู้ปกครองสามารถค้นหาจดหมายได้ที่ Letter to parents ทางด้านซ้ายมือ หรือ กดที่นี่

ในวันที่ 10 กรกฎาคม 2553 ทางโรงเรียนได้จัดให้มีการประชุมผู้ปกครองและนักเรียน
โรงเรียนอัสสัมชัญเริ่มปีการศึกษาใหม่ที่ 2553 ตั้งแต่วันที่ 24 พฤษภาคม 2553 ที่ผ่านมาช้ากว่ากำหนด ด้วยตระหนักถึงภารกิจสำคัญของโรงเรียนในการอบรมสั่งสอน และการจัดการศึกษาที่มีคุณภาพตลอดปีการศึกษาใหม่นี้ โรงเรียนจึงได้จัดให้มีการประชุมขึ้น

Brother Pisutr would like to shed light on the many teachers who helped to make the Orientation Day a success.
In addition to the main speakers mentioned in the main article (Brother Pisutr Vapiso, Stephen Cheek, and Steven Raine), we also had support from the following staff members:
For the Morning Session with the EP-M3 Parents:
1. Mr. Ufroz Ayyub - Science teacher and homeroom teacher for EP-M3/1

Success: Orientation Day for EP-M3 and EP-M6 |

On Saturday, the 26th of June the parents of the M3 and EP-M3 came for the morning session, while the parents for the M6 and EP-M6 students came for the afternoon session. The turnout for the morning session was amazing! Nearly every student had at least one parent here, and this was very encouraging.
For both sessions, the parents signed in with the homeroom teachers downstairs, and then went up to the 6th floor auditorium to hear a message from our Director, Brother Anant. Following this presentation, the EP parents came down to the EP auditorium on the first floor of the Colombet Bldg to hear a presentation by Brother Pisutr (the Vice Director and Head of EP), from Stephen Cheek (the Assistant Head of EP), from Steven Raine (the Head of Staff Training), and from 2 of our former students: Mr. Vichitpol, who is currently a first year student at Thammasat and Mr. Chote, who is currently a second year student at Chulalongkorn. These students both spoke in support of our program and in support of the plan to continue and expand standardized testing (such as the SAT). Brother Pisutr gave an introduction to our program and gave details about the Rama 2 campus, which is currently under construction. Stephen Cheek gave the background on the staff members that EP has according to grade level and according to subject, and spoke about the importance of the upcoming Cambridge ESOL PET exam this year. Steven Raine spoke about IELTS preparation and for the need for SAT preparation.
   
All in all, this occasion felt like time well spent. The message that EP wanted to convey to the parents was that we aim to make this the best program possible, and we intend to make ourselves accessible via the web, e-mail, and by phone. The feedback that we got from the parents in attendance was very positive, and we are grateful to all of those parents for their time and support!
