Special Classical Guitar Recital by Mr. Kornpol Print

On Friday, the 20th of August 2010, a classical guitar recital was held for our AC students in the EP Conference room on the 1st floor of the Colombet Building. Seating was limited, but we welcomed more than 50 students to enjoy this event. Mr. Kornpol Mitrevej, one of our former EP students who has developed spectacular musical skills, came over and gave the students a lot of classical guitar tips and techniques. The event was conducted by Mr. Thawatchai, who acted as the MC for the entire performance. Memorably, Mr. Kornpol, with his concert-master guitar, played difficult, top level songs for the young audience. He obviously impressed the audience with his ability, and he earned very loud applause at the end. In the final portion of the event, Brother Pisutr Vapiso, the Vice Director of Assumption College and Head of EP, together with an honorary guest, Brother Bro.Gérald Vasseur from Vitry-sur-Seine, Paris, kindly visited and granted him a present for this particular occasion. Then for the finale, Mr. Kornpol beautifully played a song called “Sakura” for the entertainment of the Brothers and the audience.
