AC EP Cambridge Exam Summary

Message fromm Stephen Cheek  the Assistant Head of EP

This year for the first time, many of our EP-M1 and EP-M2 students took the Cambridge ESOL KET (Key English Test).  The Cambridge exams are recognized and respected around the world, and so we were anxiously awaiting these results. The only way to describe the scores of our students is with the word "WOW"!

In these 2 grade levels we have about 200 students, and out of these 82 students took the KET (41 from EP-M1 and 41 from EP-M2).  As you can see from the information below, 99% of our students passed.  What is even more amazing is that 54% of our students scored in the highest category "Pass with Merit".

Next year, we plan to expand our focus to cover wide scale participation in both the KET & PET (Preliminary English Test) as well, the PET is up to the next level of difficulty.  The PET is challenging, and is considered to be a good preparatory test before preparing for the IELTS, which all of our EP-M6 students take before graduating. Thank you for all of the support you (the parents) have provided to help make our program the best!
