The 3rd Annual Farewell Party for EP-M6!!

On Friday evening the 12th of February, many of the Assumption College English Program teachers, students, and parents came together in order to celebrate the graduation of our EP-M6 students.  The event was held at the Asia Hotel on the 3rd floor in the Ratchatewi Room, and consisted of a high quality buffet along with a talent show.  As with the first two graduating classes, this one was very memorable.  The atmosphere throughout the evening was jubilant and the show was well organized, from the first act on stage at about 6:00 pm all the way until the student-teacher farewells and the final celebrations ended shortly after 10:00 pm. The ceremonies were presided over by Brother Pisutr Vapiso, the Head of the English Program and Vice Director of Assumption College.  Brother Pisutr watched every act with interest, and he personally greeted many students during the evening giving them his best wishes and some words of wisdom.

Regarding talent, we were treated to many types of entertainment, but one of the most memorable was the series of songs done by the group of foreign teachers known as "NATO".  NATO made a splash at its first appearance at the Family Night event a little more than a week ago, and this time they were even better. NATO consists of Chris Power on drums, William Barnes on bass guitar, Tony Hancock on lead guitar, and Brian Baker on lead vocals.

We are very proud of our graduating students, and we were excited to see many of our former students return for this event as well.  That is the key thing to remember: all of us at Assumption are part of one family - we are one - and we intend to always stay connected for the support of one another and for the glory of the school.
